We are Vandals

Unbelievable editorial from the new publication Vandals Magazine. I love the lack of hairstyling and how it gives full attention to the makeup. It’s simple and beautiful. Some of you might see it and think “J’adore!” but if you did, and you aren’t french, you should probably punch yourself in the face. Enjoy!

“A brand new bi-annual international publication— Vandals Magazine- arrives next week in Paris and we get a special sneak peak at the special portrait series, “We are Vandals” by Mathieu Vladimir Alliard featuring some of the season’s most in demand faces. The black and white series, with the concept to keep the girls as raw as possible “using no hair styling, and employing only one or two bold colors of makeup to create a ‘vandalish’ effect”, is featured here on Models.com exclusively (the issue itself is color and will have different images). The magazine, a 400 page tome, was developed in Paris, produced in New York, and designed in Barcelona, giving it a truly global air. With no ads and based solely on content, Vandals looks to be more than just your average fashion magazine. The magazine’s first issue ‘Volume 0’ will be printed in limited edition and is available on December 16th in Europe, and internationally soon after. Preorder your copy from now-December 15th, and for more from Vandals visit We Are Vandals’s website.”
