Born in Germany, Lena C. Emery grew up in Singapore and moved to Paris in 2002 to study Fine Arts at Parsons The New School for Design.
From 2008 until 2011, while based in Berlin, Emery worked as graphic and print designer for different international high fashion brands until dedicating herself fully to her photographic work and moving to London in 2012.
Since then Emery has collaborated with clients such as Helmut Lang, Victoria Beckham and COS. Her photographs have been featured in The Gentlewoman, i-D, apartamento and Zeit Magazin amongst others.
Emery is currently dividing her time between London and New York.
