How to wrap your Blowdryer cord. In 2 easy steps…

Some of you may hate me for wasting your time with such a “filler” post. Especially with the lack of regular posting going on these days. My apologies, but this needs to be tackled. It seems that no matter how amazing a hairdresser is, they still cant figure out how to wrap up their own blowdryer cord so that their poor assistant isn’t stuck trying to constantly untwist this inconveniently stubborn cord to make the hairdressers entitled inconvenient life a little easier. That is, if the hairdresser actually ever holds his own blowdryer… Now, you may have your own tried and true ways of doing this but, I dare say that I have the best way and it has been passed unto me from countless italian generations. Yes, its a techniques as old as time, it ensures that the hot air blowing out wont just be from your mouth.

1st. Hold the blowdryer in one hand. Leaving slack at the base of the cord, bring the cord into your palm so that you are holding both the blowdryer handle and the cord.

2nd. While holding the cord as you were before, wrap the cord around the back of the blow dryer. Simple, I know. Effective? Indeed!

It is important that slack is left at the base of the cord or else, over time, the connection can start to short out.

If your technique results in the picture you see below. You should not be allowed to use a blowdryer. The only good that can come of this is seeing someone using your blowdryer with out permission and watching them struggle with the mess you’ve created.
